At Open Arms Baptist Church, benevolence is at the heart of our faith. As followers of Christ, we are called to serve others with compassion, generosity, and love. Through our benevolence ministry, we strive to support those in need—whether it’s through financial assistance, food programs, community outreach, or simply lending a helping hand.
By extending kindness to others, we reflect God’s grace and build a stronger, more caring community. Your prayers, donations, and acts of service make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families who need hope and support. Together, we embody Christ’s love and fulfill His call to care for one another.

Join us in making an impact—because when we serve others, we serve Him.

Open Arms supports the local food bank by serving a few different times a year. When we are volunteering, the coffee is always on, and we love to visit. We want people to feel comfortable in this environment, not only to receive food, but also friendship. Our deepest desire is for others to feel the love of Jesus and know that we appreciate and love them for who they are.

We also encourage our church family to donate items that are in high demand at the food bank. The items we are most in need of include: ketchup, jam, peanut butter, coffee, tea, dish soap, laundry soap, tissues, paper towels, salt, and pepper.  We have an orange cloth hamper in the fellowship hall for food donation collection.
